Oil Painting "Dream. Freedom. Power" Participated in the exhibition of young artists of the Republic of Ukraine, National Art Museum of Ukraine, Kiev, Ukraine

 2004

After graduating from the Master's Degree Programme, she returned to China and passed the examination of the Academic Committee in November, obtaining the status of a regular teacher at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and in the same year, she participated in the organisation of the expansion of the School of Continuing Education.

2005

Established the School of Continuing Education's environmental design programme and became the head of the teaching and research department, with enrolment targeting workers in the field of art and design, with the aim of opening up the Academy's "ivory tower" courses to the public and turning them into practical, "people-friendly" courses.

In the same year, she went deep into Southwest China to conduct systematic research and learnt traditional handicrafts such as dyeing, spinning and embroidery from local ethnic handicraftsmen, and began to collect and organise traditional handmade clothes and tools of production and living of various ethnic groups in China for several decades, with thousands of sets of collections, and her research papers have been published in important national journals, such as Art Research, Chinese Art, and Chinese Art Newspaper, etc. She is also the first person to be published by the Chinese government in the past.

2009

The multi-media work "Three Thousand Worlds", produced in Yunnan, participated in the Fifth Songzhuang Culture and Art Festival, Shang Shang International Art Museum, Beijing, China.

The work "Zen Chair", made by traditional handicraft, was exhibited in the Young Teachers' Exhibition of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Yanhuang Art Museum, Beijing, China.

Organised a team to design and complete the exhibits for the "UK Zero Carbon Pavilion" at the Shanghai World Expo, Shanghai, China

2011

Birth of my eldest daughter

2013

Sculpture "Money Tree" in CAFA Teachers - Special Exhibition of Teachers' Creative Works, Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing, China

Mixed-media work "Everything is Born" participated in the 6th Chengdu Biennale.

2014

Second daughter was born

Lecture on the Personal Collection of Ethnic Minority Collections Participated in "Song of Shu in the Clouds", Southwest Ethnic Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition, Times Art Museum, Beijing, China

Family moved to New Zealand

2016

Birth of third daughter

2017

 Founded the Silver Fern Art Centre in New Zealand, dedicated to bringing traditional art into the community, as well as the exchange and dissemination of traditional Chinese culture overseas.

Continuing to expand my knowledge of the arts by learning the art of spinning, weaving, felting, knitting and dyeing from local artisans who are on average over 70 years old. Wrote articles and features on art topics for various media, and began to compile years of research into a book for publication.
