vintage

I have been experimenting with vintage fabrics, which give the illusion of travelling back in time. A small piece of fabric is enough to catch the eye and give the wearer a sense of depth and even mystery.

I like to use natural and simple fabrics with ancient embroidery, batik and brocade to make multiple combinations, and what I am wearing is not clothing, but history and art.

The value of traditional handmade clothing lies beneath the surface of the material, just like a great martial arts master is not about fancy embroidery, but about the inner strength and power. A needle, a thread, a thought, and a mind are used to gather the most beautiful blessings and patterns in the world, and to make clothes to wear on the body. Many of these traditional skills can no longer be replicated, making these assets invaluable, and it is imperative that we preserve and continue the pulse of this traditional culture for the future.

Old things
New things

The position of the shoulder is quite special, not as eye-catching as the jacket, and not as essential as underwear, but it seems to be very important. Just like the moon gate in the Chinese courtyard, varied, through the scenery into the courtyard. A shoulder can always be just the right place to make the ordinary clothes out of the colour.

Material: antique embroidered flower pieces, silk, linen.
